SHIPPING POLICY
Bay Area customers are welcome to pick up their order in Oakland, CA. Our warehouse is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM until 5 PM and is closed for lunch between 1 and 2 PM. Please call 510-635-5100 ahead of time to make arrangements for pickup.
Prior to shipping from our facility, all products are inspected by the carrier. However, shipping damage can and does sometimes occur. FOR YOUR PROTECTION, we strongly recommend you follow the following procedures when your appliance is being delivered:

Before signing for your merchandise, make sure you have received all the items specified on the freight bill. If anything is missing from the shipment, you must make a note on the delivery receipt (this is called an “exception”) and have the driver sign your copy. Keep a copy for your records.

If your appliance box shows ANY sign of damage, make an “exception” on the freight bill and keep a copy for your records.

Whenever possible, we recommend that you unpack each carton in the driver's presence and carefully inspect each item. If you find that your appliance is has minor damage and the minor damage is acceptable, make an “exception” on the freight bill and keep a copy for your records.

If you discover concealed damage after the driver has left, call the freight company IMMEDIATELY THE SAME DAY OF DELIVERY. Keep all packing materials and do not unpack the appliance or remove any original film, stickers or any other items from the front of the appliance.
It is a good idea to take pictures immediately after discovering concealed damage in order to support your upcoming freight claim. Any attempt to file a freight claim for damaged merchandise after the day of delivery is usually denied by the freight company.

If the equipment delivered appears to be damaged beyond repair, please refuse the shipment and write on the shipping documents exactly why you refused the delivery. Make sure you get a delivery receipt from the delivery driver with your remarks written on it.
